Terms of service
Effective 7 September 2026. These terms apply between heygerry and the website owner who adds Gerry to their site (the customer).
The service
Gerry is a voice concierge added to a website with one script tag. It applies the site's own filters, opens listings and hands over requests on the visitor's behalf, within a site map that we build with the customer and the customer edits in the panel. Gerry does only what the site map, or the customer's own declared actions, allow.
Accounts and keys
Each customer has a tenant with a public key and an origin allowlist. The key may appear in the customer's pages; the allowlist is what protects the customer's usage. The customer keeps the allowlist accurate and tells us about any site they want Gerry to run on.
Plans, usage and billing
Plans are monthly and cap both conversations and spoken minutes. A conversation longer than the plan's long-conversation limit counts as two. Usage beyond the plan is charged at the published overage rates, up to a cap the customer sets. Sessions are refused at either cap. Trial periods are free and need no card. Invoices can be settled by card or by bank transfer; prices are shown in the currency on the pricing page and exclude VAT where it applies.
Acceptable use
The customer uses Gerry on sites they own or are authorised to change, and does not use it to collect data from visitors beyond what the site map or their declared actions describe. The customer does not try to get Gerry to act outside the site's origin or to reach data the site did not mark.
Availability and support
We keep the service running and fix what breaks, including site maps that stop working when a site changes. Service levels and response times beyond that are agreed in writing on the plans that offer them.
Data
How data is handled is described in the privacy policy. For customers who need one, a data processing agreement is available before signing and forms part of these terms.
Liability
Gerry acts on a visitor's spoken request within the limits the customer set. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the customer paid in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
Either side can end a monthly plan at the end of the current month. We may suspend a tenant that breaks the acceptable-use rules, after telling the customer where that is possible. On ending, the customer removes the script tag and we delete the tenant's site map and settings on request.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; material changes are announced to customers by email in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. Disputes go to the courts of Istanbul, unless a written agreement with the customer says otherwise.
Questions: hello@heygerry.io. Plain-language versions of the documents that bind us; the signed agreement with a customer prevails where they differ.
