Plans & limits
The unit sold is a conversation — one visitor, one thing they wanted. Voice costs money by the minute underneath that, so every plan caps minutes too, and a long conversation counts against the conversation cap twice.
Plans
Draft tiers. The numbers on this page are read from the same object as the landing page's pricing and the panel's own Plan screen, so none of the three can disagree.
| Plan | Monthly | Conversations | Minutes | Sites | At once | Max per conversation |
|---|
How counting works
- A conversation starts once the visitor clicks Gerry and grants the microphone. A call the voice provider never actually opened counts as none.
- A conversation longer than 5 minutes counts as two conversations, not one — because a long call costs roughly what two short ones do.
- Minutes are spoken minutes, measured from the voice provider's own call report — the same server-side meter described in Security & privacy, rule 9. A conversation that never closed properly is never billed past the plan's cap.
- Each plan also caps how many conversations may be open at once, and how long any single one may run — both shown in the table above.
- At either the conversation cap or the minute cap, a new conversation is refused with one sentence, spoken in the visitor's own language. Conversations already underway are never cut short.
In the panel
The Plan screen shows this month's usage against the current plan live — the same three numbers (conversations, minutes, open right now) as the panel's Overview screen, plus the full catalogue and billing status below them.
